Registering online is the preferred way to do this but we understand situations and walk-ins will be accepted.
Players should arrive prepared to participate. Required items include - Tryout Pass for new club players, Medical release form and Club Waiver. Forms can be downloaded by visiting the "FORMS" tab on the website.
We require you to attend both sessions if you are a new player. Attendance at all scheduled tryout sessions is highly recommended. Attending both sessions allow us to to observe your strengths and weaknesses. Be COACHABLE with a GREAT ATTITUDE and have that COMPETITIVE MINDSET.
If a player cannot attend one of the sessions, they should notify the club before tryouts begin to do a private session.
Every athlete is evaluated using a standardized evaluation process with skills such as Serving - Passing - Setting - Hitting - Blocking - Defensive skills - Volleyball IQ - Court movement - Hustle and effort - Positive attitude - Coachability - Communication - Teamwork
Team placement is based on the overall evaluation and the needs of each team—not on one skill alone.
Following the completion of tryouts, selected athletes will receive an offer to join an Easton VBC team via a phone call that will be followed up by email. Your Offer is a GUARANTEED team placement on the team.
