Tryouts 16U & 17U, July 20 & 22

1. Dates - Times - Register

Registering online is the preferred way to do this but we understand situations and walk-ins will be accepted. 

• 15U          July 20 & 22, 2026 @ 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
• 16U-17U  July 20 & 22, 2026 @ 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
• In The Zone,  6870 Chrisphalt Dr. Bath PA 18014
• Check-in begins 15–20 minutes before the scheduled start time.
• $65 per Tryout
• Payment is due at Registration and is non-refundable.

2. What to Bring

Players should arrive prepared to participate. Required items include - Tryout Pass for new club players, Medical release form and Club Waiver. Forms can be downloaded by visiting the "FORMS" tab on the website.

• PLAYERS THAT DIDN'T PLAY CLUB LAST YEAR - MUST HAVE Tryout pass   https://krva.org/memberregistration
• You will need a Medical Release form
• Easton VBC Club WAIVER
• Athletic shoes - Knee pads - Water bottle

3. Tryout Attendance

We require you to attend both sessions if you are a new player. Attendance at all scheduled tryout sessions is highly recommended and we require you to attend both sessions if you are NEW to the club.. Attending both sessions allow us to to observe your strengths and weaknesses. Be COACHABLE with a GREAT ATTITUDE and have that COMPETITIVE MINDSET.

If a player cannot attend one of the sessions, they should notify the club before tryouts begin to do a private session.

4. Player Evaluation & Selection Process

Every athlete is evaluated using a standardized evaluation process with skills such as Serving - Passing - Setting - Hitting - Blocking - Defensive skills - Volleyball IQ - Court movement - Hustle and effort - Positive attitude - Coachability - Communication - Teamwork

Team placement is based on the overall evaluation and the needs of each team—not on one skill alone.

5. Team Offers

Following the completion of tryouts, selected athletes will receive an offer to join an Easton VBC team via a phone call that will be followed up by email. Your Offer is a GUARANTEED team placement on the team.

Players are encouraged to respond before the deadline so team rosters can be finalized.

6. Post-Tryout Process

Once an offer has been accepted, families will complete the remaining registration requirements. These include:

• Signed Club Agreement
• Player & Parent Handbook acknowledgement
• Initial deposit & Monthly club fee payment schedule
• Uniform sizing (date to be announced)
• USAV/AAU/JVA membership
• Emergency and medical information

7. First Practice & Season Information

Once rosters are finalized, families will receive:

• Practice schedule & times - Training days - Practice site schedule
• Pending Tournament schedule in November, 2026
• Team communication information
• Parent meeting details
• Uniform distribution information
